Hi I'm currently running 2.2.4 (.deb package) on Debian Lenny and I still do
not see any 2.3 update announced by package manager (apt). Do I have to
download a .deb file and use dpkg instead ? How come there's no update
available on the file repository ?

Also, is there any required steps before and after upgrading ? I mean other
than backing up data of course.

I've found no clear information about this so forgive me if I'm asking the
obvious - I've read the PDF file named
"installing-with-the-zenoss-installer.pdf" and coming from a .deb package, it
seems the upgrade procedure would be to follow chapter 9.2 steps - I wonder why
those steps wouldn't be taken care of by apt (apt can usually upgrade any
package, preserving user data and conf - why zenoss would be different ?)

Does any debian user care to share its experience and if possible, the suitable
upgrade procedure for zenoss on debian ?

Thanks !

Oh and please excuse my terrible English [Rolling Eyes]
