Yeah. There are lots of problems with schedules, whether it be with alerting rules or maintenance windows. I used to bring it up on the forums very regularly (do a search for my username), but after a while anything I wrote pretty much just got ignored, so I quit posting. ;-) It's been an issue for a long time. It needs to be fixed.
