I have a system that receives files, via ftp from different sources. Part of the post process in on that ftp server touches a file, in a status folder, with the name of the remote ftp host. This folder is also accessible via http. Either way I need to read the timestamp on the file, to track the last received time. I have each remote host already in Zenoss running nagioscheckping, to track metrics, and I want to add this, to monitor last received file time. How should I approach this?
