One request: when a server is decommissioned, you should ask whether the
associated RRD's should be retained. Historical data is important to us, and
it's rather dangerous to silently, automatically delete all historical data
when a server is decomissioned, or a link changes address, etc.

Subject: [zenoss-users] "Blue Crab" Release Plan

Development of "Blue Crab", the next major release of Zenoss is
underway. In addition to the many fixes and improvements to Zenoss
Core in general, the major themes for this release are:
- Improved OS monitoring via SSH
- Updated and new out-the-box Reports and Monitoring Templates
- New and improved documentation
- An improved User Interface

As always SVN is available for checkout and testing, we're shooting
for Q2 2009. There will be another public beta and feel free to
contact me with any further questions.

Thanks,
Matt Ray
