Hey all, hopefully I'm just missing something simple, but I'm looking for a way to group process checks against a set of a machines.
Example: I have a device class under servers/linux called "foo". "Foo" are all the same type machines so they all have the same perf templates etc. They ALSO should all be running the same processes-- think web server farm- everything in that group should be running apache. I can create the process group, configure the checks on the individual machines etc, but is there a way to say I want to monitor critical process group "production farm apache" on machines in device class "foo", but not device class "bar" ? I ask because we run production, pre-production, qa, and development farms, and while they should all be running apache, I don't need to know about *every* instance of apache out there- especially those instances that go up and down frequently on developer machines.. Thoughts?
