If that it true, then that means that templates bound to superclasses are not 
automatically inherited by subclasses. If does correspond to what I experienced.

What do you mean by 'they got' those templates? Do you mean that the Device 
template was automatically highlighted for those subclasses or that they were 
inherited but not explicitly bound for those superclasses?

By the way, what do you when you want devices that have both your Web and your 
MySQL templates bound? Do you create a third subclass (WebAndMySQL?) that has 
both templates bound?
