Hello, I have the same problem and I do have that line in snmpd.conf. This is on Ubuntu. Are there any other lines that effect permissions?
My conf looks like this: com2sec local localhost <string> com2sec mynetwork 192.168.0.0/16 <string> group MyROGroup v1 local group MyROGroup v1 mynetwork group MyROGroup v2c local group MyROGroup v2c mynetwork view all included .1 80 access MyROGroup "" any noauth exact all none none syslocation * syscontact * master agentx agentXSocket /var/agentx/master agentXperms 07700 0770 nobody asterisk # Allow Systems Management Data Engine SNMP to connect to snmpd using SMUX smuxpeer .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1 I had more than one smuxpeer line, when there's only one it seems to be ok? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=28803#28803 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
