Hello all. So ive been using zenoss for a few days now. pretty nifty, now if I could only find my traps.
Background Zenoss 2.3, on CentOS 5 - in a VMWare environment - clean install of everything, built fuzzy fresh for zenoss. OK. So. I have been sending traps from my device to enoss on port 162. I have done a packet capture and ensured that the traps are being received, and i also verified that port 162 is not hindered in iptables. All the mibs for the traps have been loaded but thats it, nothing else has been done. I can confirm that the event manager is working because i sent myself a sample trap, as per the admin guide, and yay it showed up, So where are the traps from my devices.... I have gone through zentrap logs, ran it in verbose, everything seems fine, and normal. here is some of the output http://pastebin.com/m2f71902a Went through event log and had some weird rendiner errors, i deleted the *pickle files and restarted zenoss. http://pastebin.com/m43565aa4 So, maybe my approach is wrong, or something. But can anyone shed some light on this? I have searched the forums, and no real answers. ...HELP??!?!
