You caught us mid-upgrade for building from Subversion trunk. We are upgrading the dependencies for RRDTool, so the new Cairo and Pango dependencies are currently broken. Subversion trunk is not what you want to use for a stable build, especially as a new user. I would recommend the stack debs for new users on Ubuntu. If you really want the latest stable source build, go for the following:
svn co http://dev.zenoss.org/svn/branches/zenoss-2.3.x/inst zenossinst cd zenossinst and then run the install.sh with this: SVNTAG=branches/zenoss-2.3.x ./install.sh Thanks, Matt Ray Zenoss Community Manager community.zenoss.com [email protected] On Dec 11, 2008, at 3:57 PM, webpass wrote: > Try using the native stack! 8) > > It uses .deb files rather than compiling from source... > > > > > -------------------- m2f -------------------- > > Read this topic online here: > http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=29044#29044 > > -------------------- m2f -------------------- > > > > _______________________________________________ > zenoss-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
