Hi, After further investigation the issue is as david.caermean reported.
If the Device folder does not exist in the .. /perf/Devices directory then you cannot rename the device. Solution: 1. Add a device 2. Allow a performance data/event metric to be logged against the device (i.e. SNMP monitoring) 3. Verify that a folder, with the device name, has been created in the ../pref/Devices directory. 4.
