Would someone please explain how to do this in Zenoss Core running from the VMware Appliance Image. I have had the same issue after renaming localhost to the fqdn. I tried loading the MySql tools and connecting to the DB, but it states access is not allowed from my workstation. I am new to linux, mysql, and zenoss.....maybe I should be trying to clear those ghost entries some other way?
