After dropping the templates in the $ZENHOME/import directory; Got to /Device/<whateverclass>/yodevice; Click dropdown menu and choose More --> Templates On the menu, create a new template and name it whatever you want Click on the template Open the cacti host template using any XML editor and check the object names and their corresponding OIDs Object names(Datasource names in zenoss) are the descriptive name of the service to be monitored Also NOTE: Datapoint names are the Data-source names in Cacti
