number of oid -- well your pulling total of all device 95743 OID
to tel how many per device is harder. it depends on the number of interfaces on
your device.
but you can guess-a-mate by looking in the templates
here's what I use
#of oids in device template + (number of ports X number of oids in
ethernetCsnacd template) = # of oids per device
amount of data stores -- take the last number and add them all up.
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:600
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:6:600
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:24:600
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:288:600
RRA:MAX:0.5:6:600
RRA:MAX:0.5:24:600
RRA:MAX:0.5:288:600
600x7 = 4200 lines per rrd
now if your pulling 95743 oid per 5 mins I'm not sure if you can do it on one
collector on a single box
two options reduce # of oids or add more collectors on multiple boxes.
you can see the specs I have for pulling 60000 oid ever 5 mins on a single box
