There was an issue up until recently (within the last two months) where mixed-case options were sometimes not properly handled, and that might cause issues with the configuration file. Doh!
Using a trunk version of Zenoss 2.3.2+, I can get it to work properly. zenmail run --genconf >/opt/zenoss/etc/zenmail.conf Edit the listenPort line (uncoment and change to port 10025). $ zenmail start starting... $ netstat -an | grep 10025 tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:10025 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN For a 2.3.2 system, the following zenpatch commands seemed to make things happier: zenpatch 11038 zenpatch 11300 A side-effect of this patch is that if there are unknown options in the config file, it will now complain rather than just ignore the options. kells -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=30101#30101 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
