I have Zenoss (2.1) which was running happily on ubuntu 8 (hardy) until I had the bright idea to play with a CMS system which needed a LAMP server installed - so I installed the LAMP server package under tasksel, not realising that I had these bits already installed... Now Zenoss isn't playing - I get a web page timeout and cannot connect to MySQL messages in one of the log files... Where do I start looking / fixing this, would upgrading / reinstalling do the trick (I do have some custom files which haven't been zenpacked so I would have to back those up I assume)...
