Hi, I support a government agency that supports strategic Enterprise Network Management programs. Last month we invited Vint Cerf, Ph.D to speak about IPv6. As you probably know, Dr. Cerf is a VP @ Google and widely known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet." The first sentence that he spoke addressed the lack of Network Management tools that have support for IPv6. This caught the attention of my customer.
With a team of others, we've been tasked to recommend an open source network management tool to the customer. We're looking at a list of criteria. We are really impressed with Zenoss (saw demonstration at the IT Roadmap conference and expo in Wash DC last moth). It would be great to indicate on the survery that Zenoss Core would soon have IPv6 support. Right now we've only seen where the Open Source Zabbix tool reports supporting both IPv4 and IPv6. Appreciate to hear your thoughts and comments.
