You don't need to do anything other than place your HP devices into the /Server/Windows or /Server/Linux device class for all of the functionality of the HPMonitor ZenPack to be used. It relies on the HP Insight Management Agent being installed on the system and leverages it through SNMP. So you won't get any of the benefits if you're only doing SSH monitoring. What you should expect to see if it is working would be specific hardware and operating system information on the status tab along with the serial number.
