I know that the 2 plist files in /Library/LaunchDaemons are used and if you move them then Zenoss does not start at boot.
zenoss-stack-mysql.plist zenoss-stack.plist I'm unsure how these are managed on OSX the way you control services with Linux. Please report back if you know the real answer.
