Well, I've had pretty good luck with the RPM install on CENTOS5. But I also haven't tried anything past 2.2.4 yet. If this is basically WMI stuff, maybe the Zenoss Windows forum would have more help?
My experience is basically either WMI is working for your environment or it isn't, and I haven't seen much save bugfixes from Zenoss that will change that. (Well, sometimes a different version of Linux works better... That is changing your environment).
