Hello all. I've inherited a Zenoss 2.1 system at my new job, already migrated to 2.3.2.
What I'm now tasked with is creating some rather complex monitoring rules that require alerts to be active at some times (most of the time really), and not active at other times (like during large batch jobs). I find the "Active Periods" settings to be adequate for simple things, like excluding a single hour of a week. But clearly it's awkward to do it that way, since I have to set up an active period of 6 days, 23 hours. More complex rules are going to be very painful to set up this way. Am I just missing something here, or is this the only way to accomplish this task? I suspect having a "Non Active" period option as well is probably on the list of to-do items.
