It would be great to be able to chart the disk usage on Linux systems over time, not as a percentage of the size of the disk, but chart the number of bytes (or GB) used over time.
A case where this is helpful is a server that has expandable SAN-attached storage, where we grow the SAN volume so the percentage of use changes since the volume grows. We don't get an accurate view of how much the data is growing. Example: On day 1 the data size is 90GB on a 100GB volume which equals 90% disk usage and on day 2 we resize the volume to make it 200GB which knocks the disk percentage used back down. We still need to track data growth. Anyone know how to get this done? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=30635#30635 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
