So not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but I added a device and sent the syslogs to Zenoss. All worked fine. I then decided to remove the device, but forgot to stop sending the syslogs to Zenoss. Now I would have thought that Zenoss would not bother storing any syslog events sent from IPs for which a device is not registered, but it does not, it happily stores them. Since the device was not registered, I didn't see the events piling up until i went to the event console today.
So now I have 50K events that i can't get rid of (is there any way to remove these, can't move to history or even acknowledge them, doesn't work, guess there are too many). So, guess I'm wondering if this is a bug or a feature, and how I get rid of all these events.
