I'm trying to create "devices" which are essentially the names of our clients, of which I want to use to pass into a script I have to perform tests on APIs that we manage. I created a new Device class called /API. I removed all device collectors from this class and turned off ping and SNMP monitoring of it. I then tried to add the device under the /API class, but I received the following error:
"No IP found for name <clientName>" Is there a way to add something that isn't actually a device, but can be acted upon as such? Thanks!
