All, Hopefully this isn't a unique problem.
My zenoss core 2.3 system is showing zenoss processes down on itself, but when I do a ps -ef and grep for the process, it shows it running with the identical string as configured in the montitor settings. So for Monitor Class: /Monitoring/ZenossDaemons/zenstatus<http://ops-zenoss.rtp.netapp.com:8080/zport/dmd/Processes/Monitoring/ZenossDaemons/osProcessClasses/zenstatus> It seems to be checking for the string: /opt/zenoss/bin/python /opt/zenoss/Products/ZenStatus/zenstatus.py --configfile /opt/zenoss/etc/zenstatus.conf --cycle --daemon When I do ps -ef | grep zenstatus, I get: zenoss 7671 1 0 Feb03 ? 00:00:20 /opt/zenoss/bin/python /opt/zenoss/Products/ZenStatus/zenstatus.py --configfile /opt/zenoss/etc/zenstatus.conf --cycle --daemon The funny thing is I have another zenoss instance that is not alarming on this but has the same ps -ef output.
