Sounds like you may have the same problem as I and a few others have in this ticket:
http://dev.zenoss.com/trac/ticket/4096 Try running zenhub and zenmodeler with debug logging on and see if it matches the ticket. Please add to the ticket if you are seeing the same issues detailed there.
