Okay, so maybe it's not related to my upgrade then.  I haven't heard a
peep from anyone else about how to even go about diagnosing this
problem, so I'm still left with the facts I had before; running zendisc
manually on a network works fine, running it as a daemon to auto-scan
the networks flagged with auto-discovery set to "true" seems to fail.
