I figured it out. I had changed the default password for Admin from zenoss to something else, So I also thought it was good to change the zenoss hubpassword too. But now the zenhub still had the default password. Solutions was either to revert the zenohub passwd ($ZENHOME/etc/hubpasswd) or change the passwd in the daemon script ($ZENHOME/Products/ZenHub/PBDaemon.py). I chose the earlier.
