We have a frequent alert on a couple of servers that Zenoss is monitoring SMTP on. Seems like Zenoss isn't waiting for the SMTP greeting, thus an error is generated and alerts are sent. Here is what we see on the SMTP server at the time that Zenoss checks TCP 25.
