Besides the rPath VMware appliance that we ship and is used by  
thousands of users, internally we QA and test Zenoss on CentOS,  
Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian and SuSE in 32 and 64-bit variants on virtual  
machines.  Lots of our users are installing it on VMs, it's not really  
any different than running on a regular CentOS install.  I assume  
you're running 2.3.2?  There are a handful of tickets against zenhub  
in the upcoming 2.3.3 release that address zenhub issues.
