Yeah, the second link has updating every device in a class, which is  
probably how you'll need to use zendmd.  You could generalize this by  
walking the device tree or just copy and pasting the Device classes  
you care about.  Everything is available via scripting with Python in  
zendmd, you may have to play around with it and read the Dev guide to  
figure it out.
