Hi, I have a strange problem, in our setup we are monitoring different things (in this case it was a COMMAND check), which only sends alerts in a certain time-window (8-17). BUT I just had an alert that was generated at 16.30 and correctly sent the message to me (page+mail), the service cleared again at 17.25 and I didn't receive any CLEAR message (and I shouldn't have) BUT the next day at 8, THEN I got the CLEAR message... :-|
There is no problem if the alert and clear has happened outside the notification window, but when it spans across windows, then something happens and a CLEAR is sent once the window comes online again. I'm on Zenoss Core 2.3.3 (though I have seen this earlier too) installed on a debian boks. It appears that it may only be COMMAND checks, but this I'm not sure of. Anyone seen similar behavior?
