Special characters of other languages are not displayed correctly in the event console. For example, if a German Windows OS will be monitored all special characters like "äöü" are missing.

Opened ticket http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/ticket/4480 shows no activity since 4 weeks. Is this a known problem? Someone who has a workaround for this?
