I have a snmp trap that I am processing that does not have some information being sent in the trap itself that I would like to have. Is it possible within the Transform section of the mapping event to do an snmp get to retrieve additional fields or you pretty well stuck to using the variables supplied in the NOTIFICATION?
If you can get additional fields, what would the syntax look like. Specifically I am trying to monitor my Cisco MDS SAN Switches and one of the events is fcTrunkIfDownNotify.
