For the network map, you have to have zenoss model all sorts of stuff. Zenoss works best when you have it model all your routers and switches too. This provides the model a complete network map based on the routing table each device presents. Zenoss uses this to build the graphical network map. At a min, you need the routing tables from you interconnected networks via routers for a complete network layer 3 map to present what you want.
