We are an Enterprise customer and our two biggest needs are: A audible alert on critical events to the browser window if showing the dashboard or any other event display window. The solutions offered so far are just not satisfactory. Our previous Nagios installation gave us a nice loud sound so we could look up at the browser screen being projected at our NOC. Of course, once the event is acknowledged, the sound should stop.
Another feature Nagios had was "dependencies" We don't need 20 critical alerts when a switch/router at a remote location is unreachable and those 20 or more devices behind it are also unreachable.
