Same thing for me on openSuse 11.1, Ubuntu 8.10, and Slackware 12.2 with zenoss
2.3.3. I'd rather not use the stack installer as I have my own mysql instance
already up and running.
I even tried copying the older wmi tar.bz2 from the 2.2.4 installer as
suggested in this post:
http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?t=8071&highlight=bin+winexe+such+file++directory,
 but got the same thing.

I'm fairly new to linux, so I'm most likely missing something that happens
during the build, but have no idea what it would be.
Thanks

Joel
