Same thing for me on openSuse 11.1, Ubuntu 8.10, and Slackware 12.2 with zenoss 2.3.3. I'd rather not use the stack installer as I have my own mysql instance already up and running. I even tried copying the older wmi tar.bz2 from the 2.2.4 installer as suggested in this post: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?t=8071&highlight=bin+winexe+such+file++directory, but got the same thing. >From looking around in the wmi-1.1.8.tar.bz2 file and comparing to the error >that is being logged, it kindof makes it look like some files/directories are >not where they should be for it to build properly. for example, it is looking >in the Samba/source directory, and copying some files from subdirectory bin/ >to /usr/local/zenoss/bin, or something similar, but when I look in the >Samba/source/bin directory for the file that it is looking for, none is >present. Is it supposed to write to this directory, and then copy out to >/usr/local/zenoss? I'm fairly new to linux, so I'm most likely missing something that happens during the build, but have no idea what it would be. Thanks
