After a little more investigation, when I get to the state where processes are reporting as down when they are actually up.......
If you inspect the Name field under OS Processes for a device, the name is the short name, eg. named, whereas when the status is reporting correctly theName field is generally the full path name eg. /usr/sbin/named No idea when or how this changes. Sometimes doing a remodel gets things back to the working state....
