Hello, I've installed Zenoss for the first time on an evaluation box in our lab. This is the first time I've used Zenoss, and I like what I've seen so far. It's primary purpose is to monitor a group of Cisco routers and some occam BLC devices.
I installed the Cisco MIB zenpack and found that the CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB was somewhat out of date. Not a big deal, they add new devices all the time. I downloaded the new mib and imported it into zenoss on top of the existing one. I can now see the devices when I browse the imported mibs: Name CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB::cisco7609s OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.864 But, when I add new devices, or re-model existing ones, the HW model type does not update. HW Model .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.864 I feel like I'm missing something here... I know I can add it by hand, but I like the idea of adding mibs and the process being automatic. I have a similar issue with the occam devices. I have the mibs installed, but the hw model isn't populated. Any help appreciated! -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=33229#33229 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
