I've, with the help of Matt Ray, started a Users Forum FAQ. I will keep updating as quickly as I can to get it fleshed out with my pet issues. I have a bunch of stuff to still get up, but I'd like comments on formatting/organization, and corrections to anything currently posted.
Once I get up my FAQs and the Getting Started With Zenoss webinar questions, we'll have to work out further updates. http://community.zenoss.org/trac-zenpacks/wiki/CommunityFAQGeneral I was planning on having a FAQ per forum, but with the webinar questions, I'm not sure that will work as easily, and it may well be more confusing than it's worth. -- James Pulver Information Technology Area Supervisor LEPP Computer Group Cornell University James Pulver wrote, On 4/8/2009 3:05 PM: > Per a comment on this thread: > http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=33207#33207 > > > I think this question is the first candidate for FAQ. > Matt Ray wrote: > > > You can use SNMP v3 for monitoring and still handle v2 or v1 traps. > > > The docs are being fixed to remove the "2.1.1" reference and simply > > > state that "SNMP v3 traps are not currently supported".
