I need some help here. I'm about to go nuts because it seems as if Zenoss is falsely alerting that hosts and services are down, and we need to only be alerted when there really is a problem.
We have ping checks that alert on hosts down which are not down. We have a DNS check that alerts that the DNS server is down or times out when it is resolving quickly and the logs prove it. We have a website that Zenoss reports as down when it is not. We have SMTP servers that Zenoss reports as not responding and they are, the logs prove it. Has anyone else seen this before? Our Zenoss is running on CentOS 5.2 with 3GB RAM and usually has over 500MB free and no swap, and it is a Xen virtual machine. We monitor around 75-100 hosts. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=33311#33311 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
