On a few of my hosts I am handling printing via LPR. On occassion, I find that a job breaks printing and multiple instances of LPR are stuck running. Durring the majority of the time, I do not have any LPR processes running. How can I set up a threshold so that it meets the following requirements?
A.) creates an alert when there are more then 3 stopped jobs AND B.) does not alert when LPR is not runnnig Additionally, is there a way to set this up globally?
