So I'm trying to set up zenmail for the first time and it's not working at all.
First time I ran it, it complained that /usr/local/zenoss/zenoss/etc/zenmail.conf didn't exist so I used zenmail genconf to generate it. I then changed the listenPort directive in the conf file to 9025. However, when I try to start Zenmail it still tries to bind to port 25 which is running the default mail server. So I then tried the following: zenmail run --listenPort=9025 and got this output: INFO:zen.mail:listening on port: 9025 INFO:zen.ZenMail:Connected to ZenHub INFO:zen.ZenMail:started INFO:zen.ZenMail:fetching default RRDCreateCommand INFO:zen.ZenMail:getting threshold classes INFO:zen.ZenMail:getting collector thresholds INFO:zen.ZenMail:Daemon ZenMail shutting down INFO:zen.ZenMail:zenmail shutting down So for some reason it shuts down right after starting... how the heck do I get this to work? Also, why isn't ZenMail started with the rest of the Zenoss apps, nor monitored in the Daemons tab? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=33436#33436 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
