I had the same problem when I deleted a class organizer that wasn't empty.
Whenever I restarted the zenperfsnmp daemon I got the error loading config
message.

I tried to recreate the class and deleting the objects then recreating them. It
didn't work. But when I tried rebuilding the zenoss indexes for the heck of it,
it seemed to fix it. You can try it and see if it works for you.
