It looks like there was a change in how we handled this nextEvent call between 2.2.3 and 2.2.4. We set a timeout on the operation in 2.2.4. The reason you get this error is that the watchdog found zenwin to be hung, and when zenwin restarted it reported that this was the function call during which the hang occurred. You may want to consider upgrading to 2.2.4 to get the fix. It could be dangerous to zenpatch in because the changeset affects a lot of other code as well. The related ticket is linked below.
