Thanks for the reply. If i am understanding the way this works then, the filesystem template already gets the used space and total size of the disk (in blocks of course). Then it uses those values to calculate the percentage of free space.
Would there be a simple way i could just modify this template to calculate the free space in blocks and then convert it into bytes? It seems like I should be able to do this because I think the data needed to do the calculation is already being accessed by that template.
