Hi Sajith I've been playing around with roles and have figured out something interesting with your highlighted point; ZenManager can change roles with Manager. While testing I noticed that being a ZenManager, if i click the settings tab, go to 'users' I do get the option of upgrading my role BUT if I try changing my role to Manager and click the save button, the zenoss application logs me out.
Hence, its a flaw that it does SHOW that you can change the role but actually it does'nt allow you and instead of giving an error message that 'you dont have access' it simply logs you out. ONLY the Manager has access to perform this activity.
