Oh, hey - I just realized, you'll want to do some of the changes to graph default zoom, but you also have to increase your perf polling frequency. Good luck getting Zenoss running every 10 seconds on SNMP and WMI polling - you'll need major hardware unless you're doing a quite low number of devices.
See Collectors under the Management menu, go to localhost, and edit ... They default at every 60 seconds I think. To get more often than that you'll need to increase the polling frequency. And you need to tell the graph in the definition the intervals it's graphing... I recall a post saying it's set by pixels - it's pretty much an RRD thing, so try reading their manuals. -- James Pulver Information Technology Area Supervisor LEPP Computer Group Cornell University slickrick21 wrote, On 5/6/2009 12:23 PM: > I want to make it so my graph intervals are smaller (eg data every 10 > seconds as apposed to every 5 minutes) . that link is about changing the > graphs default zoom etc . > > > jmp242 wrote: >> I believe you need to do it in the RPN: See >> http://blog.zenoss.com/2009/04/28/tip-of-the-month-changing-default-performance-graph-ranges/ >> -- >> James Pulver >> Information Technology Area Supervisor >> LEPP Computer Group >> Cornell University >> >> >> >> slickrick21 wrote, On 5/6/2009 10:17 AM: >> >>> My new graphs are still coming back with the 5 minute step. where am I >>> supposed to be changing this ? >>> >>> >>> jmp242 wrote: >>> >>>> I think you have to delete the graph definition, and re-create it.
