Curious thing is happening, if I enter the exact ip address of a device I get a blank screen in network maps. If I neter the ip of a network I get a blank screen. If I enter the device name and not even the fqdn just the first part I get a great looking map.
I have dns entries for the device both forward and reverse. I am confused as to why it would take a name and resolve it and draw a map but not the IP address of the device or the network. I have used the ip as noted 192.168.50.0 and 192.168.50.0/24 and nothing I have used 192.168.50.5 and nothing but if I use router1.companyname.com Iget a map and I also get one if I enter router1 Any thoughts?
