As an update on this, though the patch works, I regularly see regression to the previous state where I lose most of my interfaces on given routers. I end up having to force remodeling every 15 min or so to avoid losing data, which is no small cpu hit on many of these routers.
My advice to anyone considering upgrading at this point would be "don't." I've lost over a years worth of historical data on several interfaces due to whatever issue there is with 32 bit counters in the new release (worked fine previously) and am regularly losing new info. I look like a jackass handing in streaky graphs, graphs with gaping holes in them, and graphs of 2 or 3 days length for "historical" purposes. Not complaining - it's still worth every penny my company has chosen to invest ($0) - but I am pointing out that this has been a very bad upgrade for me. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=35089#35089 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
