How many devices etc were you monitoring? Did you increase the RAM and 
Disk space in the appliance? As is, generally the appliance is pretty 
limited in how many devices it can monitor - you usually have to tweak 
the VMWare settings etc...

Also, you might want to ssh to the appliance and check the logs ...
